	Outstanding 4 pts	Good 3 pts	Fair 2 pts	Poor 1 pts
Speed	Outstanding Maintains a fast speed while dribbling. Able to jump stop effectively when there is defense.	Good Can dribble at a fast speed most of the time. Jump stop is good when there is a defender.	Fair Dribbles at a medium speed. Jump stop is awkward.	Poor Dribbles at a slow speed. Usually travels when the jump stop is attempted.
Control	Outstanding Able to dribble ball between the legs. Makes good cross over dribbles. Dribbles well with both hands. Able to shoot off the dribble. Never carries the ball.	Good Can dribble between the legs and complete a cross-over dribble while standing. Dribbles well with dominant hand. Sometimes carries the ball.	Fair Can crossover dribble while standing still. Can only dribble with one hand. Sometimes travels and usually carry the ball.	Poor Can dribble with dominant hand. Usually travels and carries the ball.
Stance	Outstanding Stays very low with knees bent. Makes good lateral movement. Keeps head up at all times.	Good Stays low with knees bent. Looks off balance when making lateral movements. Looks down at the ball occasionally.	Fair Stays low while standing still. Unable to make lateral movements. Looks down at the ball often.	Poor Stands upright while dribbling. Consistently keeps head looking at the ball
