Technical Skills	Poor Little attention is paid to how movements are done and finer details such as pointing the feet, lengthening the legs, body position are missing.	Fair Only some understanding of technical elements (pointing the feet, lengthening the legs, body position) demonstrated in performance.	Good Dance performed with attention to most details of technique, but hasn't attained proficiency in dance style yet.	Whoo hoo!!!!! Timing/Quality	Poor Counts are off.	Fair Dancer understands timing at a very basic level. Counts are correct but phrase lacks any sense of variation.	Good Dancer understands timing and is beginning to explore variations within the counts with breath, suspension, sharpness, etc. Counts are correct.	Whoo hoo!!!!! Dancer demonstrates advanced understanding of variation and quality in timing. This includes moments of suspension, breath, sharpness, etc.

Imbuing it with a sense of personal quality and style.
