Group Dance Rubric Group Dance Rubric This rubric is designed to assess the group on how well they portray their feelings with dance moves, how well they work together, and their ability to incorporate different moves throughout the entire dance. Group Dance Rubric This rubric is worth a total of up to 100 points. It will be based on teamwork. dance moves, and how well each dancery portrays his/her feelings into the dance.
	Level 1 Not at the desired level 25 pts	Level 2 Approaching the desired level 25 pts	Level 3 Has targeted the desired level 25 pts	Level 4 Has achieved targeted level and surpassed targeted level in some areas. 25 pts
Teamwork How well the group works together and stays on track with one another.	Level 1 The group does not stay together. There is a lot of individual dancing and not as a group.	Level 2 The group does a fairly good job of staying together. They could still use some work on getting everyone to put forth 100%.	Level 3 The group works well together. Each member has contributed to the moves incorporated into the dance and most are in sync with one another.	Level 4 The group works very well together. Each member has contributed to the moves and all are in sync with one another.
Dance Moves This assesses how many moves are incorporated into the group dance routine.	Level 1 There is only 1-2 of the required dance moves throughout the routine.	Level 2 There are 3 of the required dance moves incorporated into the routine.	Level 3 There are 4 of the requiured dance moves incorporated into the routine.	Level 4 There are more than 4 of the required dance moves incorporated into the routine.
Feelings Portrayed This area is based on how well the group portrays their feelings throughout the dance.	Level 1 There is little or no indication of the feelings being portrayed by the dancers.	Level 2 There is somewhat of an indication of what the dancers are feeling, but some moves are questionable.	Level 3 The dance clearly expresses how the dancers feel during the dance. Each move expresses a new feeling and most dancers portray it wel.	Level 4 The dance clearly expresses how the dancers feel during the dance. Each move expresses a new feeling and all dancers portray it well.
