Student is able to provide examples for only 1-2 of the different traits

Student is able to provide examples for 3-4 of the different traits.
Good

Student is able to provide examples for 5-6 of the different traits. Student can give examples of things with only some of these traits yet are not living due.
Excellent

Student is able to provide examples for all 7 of the traits of life and is able to explain why objects without these traits are not qualified as living.
