¡Actividad del Arte Azteca! Actividad del Arte Azteca Inspired by one of the greatest Ancient Civilizations, The Aztecs, students will create their own "Mosaic Sun God". _NYS standard: Students will develop cross-cultural skills and understandings. ¡Actividad del Arte Azteca! Students will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
	Excellent 5 pts	Good 4 pts	Poor 2 pts	Not effort at all 0 pts
Creativity	Excellent Student art work is very creative,artistic, inspired, and original.	Good Student art work is somewhat creative, but mostly average.	Poor Student just used one color for his/her Mosaic. Decoration is very messy. Student colored outside the lines.	Not effort at all Student did not hand in his/her Mosaic.
Color	Excellent Student use more than 5 colors. Student work is very colorful.	Good Student used at least 3 colors.	Poor Student only use one or no color at all.	Not effort at all Student did not hand in his/her Mosaic.
Punctuality	Excellent The Mosaic was handed in on due date.	Good The Mosaic was handed in one day late.	Poor The Mosaic was handed in more than 2 days late.	Not effort at all Student did not hand in his/her Mosaic.
Directions	Excellent Student followed all the directions and successfully created his/her Mosaic Sun God.	Good Student somehow followed the directions. Mosaic is missing one of the major material component like the tagboard/paper plate, colorful paper scraps or magazine pages.	Poor Student's Mosaic isn't assembled properly. Student didn't followed directions. Mosaic is very messy.	Not effort at all Student did not hand in his/her Mosaic.
