Internet For Musicians
Creating Music Through Technology
Students will understand the usage of the lab-policy and understand the computer usage agreement according to the syllabus. They will learn the early electronic music and how it evolved throughout time. They must understand the properties of sound in order to manipulate sound through synthesis. Finally, they will explore the electronic equipment available in lab and take brief notes on instruments. For their first project, they will make a creative poster of additional electronic instruments used today. For their second project, students must do an extensive research on how electronic music evolved at the library and type 2-3 pages on their favorite /artist band that uses electronic/digital technology.
