Historical Component	Poor The historical information shows concepts students knew without any research.	Fair Historical concepts are accurate and there is evidence of specific outside research that supports the character.	Good All historical information is accurate and the character shows depth, detail and a deep understanding of the portrayed person.
Planning and Research	Poor Student's plan was scattered and showed little effort to research it.	Fair Student had a plan, tried to follow it and support it with research.	Good Student planned, researched and organized an exceptional project.
Group Cooperation	Poor Student was present in the group, but added little to the organization, planning and presentation.	Fair Student actively helped the group in research and development, but only covered the basic expectations.	Good Student was an active group member, helping to build an exceptional learning community by researching, encouraging, and participating to the best of their ability.
Performance and Role Play	Poor Student participated in the day, but showed little or no understanding of the Ancient Roman Culture.	Fair Student planned, researched and participated with their group. Their costume showed effort and they showed a basic understanding of their topic.	Good Student planned, researched, dressed and acted the part of an Ancient Roman. They worked cooperatively and showed exceptional understanding of their topic covering Ancient Rome.
Food Dish	Poor Brought food, but did not prepare it and had little to say about it.	Fair Prepared a dish to share with the class and provided a recipe, but did not have much to say about the dish	Good Student prepared the dish, explained its significance to the Greek people and provided a recipe.
