Creative Writing Rubric 
Students will describe a picture of their choice by using their five senses to create a descriptive essay. Writing will be graded on capitalization, punctuation, use of main idea and supporting details, spelling, grammar usage, and descriptors using 5 senses with similes. Also the writing may include personification or metaphors.
