The video should contain footage or pictures appropriate to the story. Voice, music, and sound effects are optional but if present must meet standards of appropriateness, synchronization, and appropriate volume. Length should not exceed 10 minutes and tell a complete story. ALL clips, photos, and sound used from other sources must be properly credited.

Video presentation is basic. Action/pictures lack appropriateness to topic; voice and/or music and/or sound effects are not appropriate for the story; video is too short to tell the story; clips, photos, and sound are incorrectly cited.
Fair

Video presentation is basic. Action/pictures are appropriate to topic with some lighting difficulties making visibility erratic; voice and/or music and/or sound effects are appropriate but volume level is inconsistent and unsynchronized with pictures. Audience attention may tend to wander. Video more than 10 minutes in length. Clips, photos, and sound are correctly cited.
Good

Video presentation is basic. Action/pictures are appropriate to topic and are clearly visible; voice and/or music and/or sound effects are appropriate but volume level is inconsistent; holds attention of audience. Video is no more than 10 minutes in length. Clips, photos, and sound are correctly cited.
Excellent

Video presentation demonstrates originality and creativity. Action/pictures are appropriate to topic and are clearly visible; voice and/or music and/or sound effects enhance the project. Overall the production catches and holds audience attention. Video is no more than 10 minutes in length. Clips, photos, and sound are correctly cited.
