Did the dancer excite you? Pull you in with their energy and focus? Did they give their very best?

The dancer is not very focused, concentrated or committed to performance.

The dancer is generally focused, but only some attempt made to communicate w/ audience.

The dancer performs with good energy and effort and communicates the emotion well.

The dancer creates a believable character on stage and are able to engage the audience.
