Problem Solving Strand 8.P.S.2	Exemplary (Exceeds Standards) A thorough interpretation of the solution was used to solve the mathematical problem.	Acceptable (Meeting Standards) An acceptable interpretation of the solution was used to solve the mathematical problem.	Partial(Approaching Standards) An inconsistent interpretation of the solution was used to solve the mathematical problem.	Limited (Below Standards) A limited interpretation of the solution was used to solve the mathematical problem.
Communication Strand C.M.2	Exemplary (Exceeds Standards) The project communicates mathematical ideas thoroughly and is organizedand complete.	Acceptable (Meeting Standards) The project communicates mathematical ideas and is organized, but there are minor errors.	Partial(Approaching Standards) The project communicates mathematical ideas that are partially , resulting in errors.	Limited (Below Standards) The project does not communicate mathematical ideas or communicates incorrectly and is disorganized; directions were not followed.
Connections Strand C.N.9	Exemplary (Exceeds Standards) Mathematical investigation is organized, thorough and accurately displayed.	Acceptable (Meeting Standards) Mathematical investigation is organized, but there are minor errors.
