	Excellent 10 pts	Good 8 pts	Fair 6 pts	Poor 4 pts
Organization Weight = 2	Excellent Chapter/Epilogue is clearly organized. Plot development follows a logical sequence and brings a sense of closure to the reading. Consistent use of perspective.	Good Chapter/Epilogue is organized, but plot is not clearly developed or does not bring a sense of closure to the reading. Point of view is consistent.	Fair Chapter/Epilogue lacks organization and events tend to ramble. No consistency in point of view.	Poor Chapter/Epilogue without any plot development. Shows little effort.
Dialogue Weight = 2	Excellent Chapter uses both internal dialogue (Melinda's thoughts) and external dialogue (conversations). Both are used correctly and consistently.	Good Chapter uses both internal and external dialogue, but format or usage is inconsistent.	Fair Chapter only includes one type of dialogue.	Poor Chapter does not include any form of dialogue.
