Story Writing in Spanish 
Students in level Spanish 3 / 3H will write a short story in Spanish, using their visual flashcards from Lecciones 8 y 9 Vistas 6. They will only write in class with pen and paper. No devices will be used on this project until the end when they compile the story visually. There will be drawings and Spanish words. There will be 3-4 students to a group.

Originality/Creativity

Students should come up with a creative plot using the vocabulary from Lecciones 8 (la comida) and 9 (las fiestas). Remember you can write brilliantly with simple structures. The visual product will be a illustrated story.

IL to IH

Writing shows evidence of student thinking and creativity. The story is new and original and well thought out. A creative approach is evident.
NH to IL

Writing shows some evidence of student thinking and creativity. Most story events are new and original. Some creative approaches are evident.
NM to NH

Writing shows little evidence of student thinking and creativity. Few story events are new and original. Few creative approaches are evident.
NL to NM

Writing shows no evidence of student thinking and creativity. Story events are not new and original. No creative approaches are evident.
