	Excellent 20 pts	Average 15 pts	Satisfactory 10 pts	Poor 5 pts
Notes	Excellent Science binder contains a neatly written class notes index and class notes can be easily found by locating the date.	Average Science binder contains MOST notes and are placed in the proper section.	Satisfactory Science binder contains SOME notes and/or notes are not placed in the proper section.	Poor Science Binder does not meet specified standards; missing notes or class note index and/or they are not in the proper section of the binder.
Homework	Excellent Science binder contains a neatly written assignment sheet and all graded work is placed in dated order behind the assignment sheet.	Average Science binder contains MOST homework assignments, completed and in the proper section.	Satisfactory Science binder contains SOME homework assignments, completed and in the proper section.	Poor Science binder does not meet specified standards; missing assignments, incomplete work, and/or placed in wrong section of the binder.
Tests/Reviews	Excellent Science binder contains all returned assessments in the proper section.	Average Science contains most returned assessments in the proper section.	Satisfactory Science Notebook contains some returned assessments in the proper section.	Poor Science Notebook does not meet specified standards; missing assessments, and/or placed in the wrong section of the binder.
Handouts	Excellent Science Binder has a section for the handouts and any handouts are neatly placed inside the section.	Average Science Binder has a section for the handouts and handouts are placed inside the section.	Satisfactory Science Binder has a section for the handouts, but the section is messy and disorganized.	Poor Science Binder has no section for the handouts.
