Connection Evidence that the student connected the play to its historical context.	Poor Few to no connections made to the characters and text of the play. Research Foot or End Notes All source documents cited thoroughly in MLA format. When in doubt, check Purdue University's OWL site. You must also phrase everything in your own words.	Poor Student did not cite their sources. Student plagiarized wording or facts without citation.	Fair Some sources were cited. Incorrect citation method may have been used. Student's wording was too similar to that given in the original source.	Adequate All sources cited but incorrect method was used. Student phrased the information in their own words.
