Class Attendance and Work Readiness Class Attendance and Work Readiness This rubric shows how your attendance and readiness to preform lab tasks affect your overall grade in the course. Attendance SGT College policy will be followed. More than 2 absences will result in a drop from the class by the instructor or a grade change to one lower than average of work.
	Unacceptable 0 pts	Below Average 50 pts	Average 100 pts	Excellent 150 pts
Punctuality 33.3 % This is a key skill to securing an internship, and becoming employable.	Unacceptable Student is late and absent more than on time and present 60% of the time.	Below Average Student is late and absent, but on time and present 80% of the time.	Average Student is on time and present 90% of the time.	Excellent Student is on time and present 100% of the time.
PPE 33.3 % A culture of safety.	Unacceptable Student does not bring or use PPE as required by the culture of safety more than 80% of the time.	Below Average Student has PPE, and uses regularly although the instructor has to remind them. This occurs no more than 20% of the time.	Average Student uses PPE all of the time, and helps remind classmates to use it properly. This occurs no more than 5% of the time.	Excellent Student uses PPE all of the time, and helps remind classmates to use it properly. This occurs 100% of the time.
Attitude 33.3 % Problems outside of the classroom should not interfere with performance here.	Unacceptable Student has a poor attitude and does not complete lab assignments more than 50% of the time.	Below Average Student has a good attitude and completes most lab assignments in a timely manner at least 80% of the time.	Average Student has an excellent attitude, asks relevant questions, and finishes all lab assignments in a timely manner at least 90% of the time.	Excellent Student has an excellent attitude, asks relevant questions, and finishes all lab assignments in a timely manner 100% of the time.
