Vocational Skills Grading Criteria
	Advanced 4 pts	Proficient 3 pts	Basic 2 pts	Below Basic 1 pts	Unacceptable 0 pts	Grade Received (N/A)
Demonstrated Knowledge of Theory	Advanced Student knows and is able to identify and explain necessary theories for completion of the project.	Proficient Student is able to identify and explain necessary theories for completion of the project with some assistance.	Basic Student is unable to identify or explain concepts without major prompting.	Below Basic Student is not able to both identify and explain major theories.	Unacceptable Student is unable to either identify or explain any related theories to the project.	Grade Received M T W TH F
Student Preparedness	Advanced Student had/gathered all materials and was completely ready to go to work.	Proficient Student had/gathered most materials and went to work.	Basic Student had/gathered most materials, however, they needed excess time to do so.	Below Basic Student did not have/gather some of the needed materials to perform work.	Unacceptable Student did not have/gather the needed materials and was unable to perform work.	Grade Received M T W TH F
Time Management	Advanced Routinely used time well throughout the day to get the tasks done on time.	Proficient Used time fairly well throughout the day.	Basic Procrastinated somewhat but did get the tasks done on time.	Below Basic Was unable to adequately meet timeline due to inablility.	Unacceptable Did not meet timeline due to procrastination or wasting time.	Grade Received M T W TH F
Student Attitude	Advanced Student considered his/her work a reflection of their diligent efforts.	Proficient Student was pleased with work.	Basic Student performed semi-decent to receive a fair grade.	Below Basic Student turned in project simply to receive credit.	Unacceptable Student turned in a project without concern for its reflection of their work.	Grade Received M T W TH F
Application of Safety Practices	Advanced Student followed all safety rules.	Proficient Student followed most safety rules, may have forgotten one.	Basic Student attempted to follow safety rules but failed to meet several.	Below Basic Student failed to follow a significant number of safety rules.
