Introduction An introduction of the character being interviewed is included at the beginning of the email.	Excellent The introduction gave a good description of the character being interviewed. Details and examples from the text were used to give the audience a clear picture of who was being interviewed.	Good The introduction stated the characters name; however, details describing the character were general or vague.	Average An introduction to the character being interviewed was not included.
Interview Questions The questions were relevant to the material read in class.	Excellent The questions varied in type and were relevant to the content of the play and the character in question. Higher order inferential questions were used and answered correctly.	Good The questions in the presentation were simple, literal questions and did not vary in syntax or length.	Average The questions in the presentation were weak, grammatically incorrect, or needed revisions.
