Greek Collateral 2016--Greek Artwork Composition 
Students select a work of Classical or classically-themed art and write an English summary and a Greek summary about it. The Greek composition is accompanied by a vocabulary list of 5 new words and Latin sentences using them.

Arista

All the required elements are present. Nouns in a variety of declensions are used with accurate case endings. Accent marks and breathing marks are correctly used. Verbs have the correct personal endings and agree with the subjects. Adjectives agree with nouns. The story can be understood with some vocabulary help (18-20 points)
Kalos

All the required elements are present, but there are some errors in noun cases, subject-verb agreement, adjective-noun agreement, accentuation, and the like. The story can be understood with some vocabulary help. (16-17 points)
Phaulos

All the required elements are present, but there are many grammatical errors that make the story hard to understand. Few to no attempts to use accent and breathing marks correctly (14-15 points).
Aischros

The story is impossible to understand because of reliance on online translators, or because the author simply transliterated the English. (13 points or fewer)
