Rhythm/Tempo Ability to stay in time with the music	Developing The dancer attempts to keep a rhythm, but often gets off beat and speeds up or falls behind. Doesn't follow beat in music.	Satisfactory The dancer shows good understanding of tempo and beat by rarely getting off beat or making errors in rhythm.	Excellent The dancer is outstandingly accurate in beat, tempo, rhythms and dance sequences.
Preparedness during Rehearsals Student used rehearsal time effectively.	Developing Dancer is not prepared to perform at all. Dancer did not use rehearsal time wisely. OR Dancer did not tend rehearsal sessions.	Satisfactory Dancer is mostly prepared. Only some dance moves are unsure or are missed. Rehearsal time was used effectively most of the time.	Excellent Dancer is completely prepared and has obviously rehearsed. Dancer is focused and on task. Student did not waste any rehearsal time.
Enthusiasm Involvement in the emotion or mood of the dance.	Developing Dancer did not demonstrate an interest in performance. Creativity in Choreography The dance moves chosen display a certain level of creativity.	Developing No creativity. Dancer has copied straight from Just Dance choreography.	Satisfactory The dancer has helped choreograph simple moves in dance sequence.	Excellent The dancer has chosen some complex dance moves and has embellished those moves in other parts of the dance.
