Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.
Exceeds

The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner has an understanding of the persuasive appeal used.
Creativity

Poor

Lacks illustration. Not good use of space on poster. Messy. Lacks color.
Fair

Not very appealing. Illustration is present, but is messy. Limited use of creative materials. Not a lot of color/design.
Exceeds

Eye catching. Great use of colors and spacing on poster. Artwork is the student's own & is neat. Writing is easy to read. Shows the student can express ideas through art.
Format/presentation

Poor

Not on required poster board and/or submitted late. Student did not present the poster.
Fair

Poster board is damaged. Poster was submitted later than original due date. Student presented poster but did not participate or speak.
Exceeds

Poster is of exceptional quality. Nothing is torn or bent. Submitted on time. Student actively participated during poster presentation.
Expectations/Potential

Poor

Does not meet teachers expectations or students potential.
Fair

Few areas of project meets teachers expectations or students potential.
Exceeds

Meets teachers expectations and students potential.
