Language	Poor Multiple grammar errors make understanding difficult. Multiple vocabulary problems.	Fair Language is somewhat unclear and needs work. Grammar errors that require clarification from the listener. Grammar errors in both frequent and infrequent structures. Vocabulary adequate, but relatively simple.	Good Some grammar and spelling mistakes present. Some clarification needed, but the language is generally fairly well constructed. Good vocabulary selection of regular, idiomatic, and lower frequency words and expressions.	Very good Minimal errors exist. Language is understandable and clear. Complex grammar structures add to the flow of the presentation. Vocabulary is higher order, and more common vocabulary used clearly and correctly.
Structure	Poor The project doesn't flow. There is little connection between the thoughts and ideas	Fair The project has a structure but the ideas do not flow very clearly.	Good The project flows well and makes sense. There are some areas that need work, but overall, the project has a rhythm to it.	Very good Project flows very well. The ideas presented are clear, concise, and have a logical progression and flow.
Information	Poor Little useful or helpful information.	Fair Some decent information that isn't connected very well. Information not set up for the listener, too many assumptions by the speaker.	Good Decent quantity of information presented. Usually well connected so as to be understandable. Helps forward the listeners understanding of the person/thing. Missing a couple of pieces that might make understanding very clear.	Very good Clear presentation of significant details. Well-sequenced so as to understand the person or thing being presented.
Pronunciation	Poor Causes difficulty in understanding.	Fair Some obvious areas of deficiency (rhythm and/or pronunciation of individual words).	Good A couple of errors in pronunciation, but generally they don't interfere with understanding. Pacing may be a little awkward or show uncertainty or desire to get through presentation quickly. Two or three mispronunciations.	Very good Clear pronunciation, appropriate intonation and rhythm patterns. Only one mispronunciation.
