Life Stages and Developments Project
BODY SYSTEM PROJECT
This rubric is to grade students that are working on a group project. Each group will create a bulletin board with four types of development across the top. Life stages are listed down one side, and types of development under each classification are shown using diagrams, pictures, or words.

The students followed little to none of the directions. The project was completed with minimal amount of effort.
Average/Good
The students followed some of the directions. The project was completed, but needed improvements. More effort was needed to have a better finish for this project.
Very Good
The student followed most of the directions. The project was completed very well. The students worked hard and showed improvements and created a good finished project
Excellent
The students followed all of the directions. The project was completed to the best of their ability. The students put more effort into the project than what was required. The students showed tremendous amount of improvements and developed an excellent finished project.
Visual aide
Poor and Unacceptable
The project was completed, but showed no progress or understanding of the content. The craftsmanship and skills are poor and unacceptable.
Below Average
The project was turned in and showed little progress and little understanding of the content. The craftsmanship and skills are below average.
Average/Good
The students turned in the project showing some progress and some understanding of the project. The craftsmanship and the skills were ok. The work is not as good as it could be.
Very Good
The students turned in the assignment showing good progress and understanding of the project. The craftsmanship and the skills are good. The work showed improvements.
Excellent
The students turned in the assignment showing outstanding progress and understanding. The craftsmanship and skills are excellent. The work shows tremendous improvements.
Creativity/Originality
Poor and Unacceptable
The project was completed. There is no evidence of creativity or originality. The students did not take the time to brainstorm ideas for this project.
Below Average
The project was completed, but there is little evidence of trying new ideas. The students took little to no time to brainstorm ideas for the project.
Average/Good
The project was completed. There was some evidence of trying a few ideas. The students took some time to brainstorm for the project.
Very Good
The project was completed and there is evidence that the students brainstormed new ideas and showed originality in their assignment. The students used previous knowledge of past assignments for this one.
Excellent
The project was completed and there is evidence that the students brainstormed new ideas and used those within their work. The students used their originality and creativity to create a finished project. The students used their knowledge from previous projects to create a work of art.

Poor and Unacceptable
The student showed no knowledge of content. Not able to explain project or answer questions
Below Average
The student showed minimal knowledge of content. Not able to answer questions or explain project.
Average/Good
The student showed knowledge of content, was able to answer some questions and gave brief explanation.
Very Good
The student showed knowledge of content. Spoke clearly and answered most questions. Good explanation.
Excellent
Excellent knowledge, knew information well, able to answer questions and gave excellent explainantion of project.
