The dancer is able to engage the audience completely through their performance. dances with ease and grace and is wonderful to watch!
Rhythm/Tempo

Attempts to keep a rhythm, but gets off beat and speeds up or falls behind often. Doesn't follow beat in music.
Fair
Shows a basic understanding of tempo and beat, but falls behind and/or speeds up and cannot feel the rhythm or sit in the rhythm
Good
Generally accurate in beat, tempo, rhythms of dance sequences most of the time.
Excellent
Shows a complete understanding of tempo and beat and stays on rhythmn throughout the dance and has excellent musicality.
Individual Improvement
Poor
Student has not put much effort in. Needs to work much harder to attain improvement.
Fair
Student's effort is inconsistent.
Needs to push self harder to demonstrate learning and improved skill level.
Good
Shows improvement in performance and technical skills, and demonstrates sufficient improvement in memorization/execution of material. Student has shown adequate improvement during unit.
Excellent
Shows major improvement in performance and technical skills, and demonstrates improvement in memorization/execution of material.
