Made for the Movies Rubric Made for the Movies! Poster Rubric Pretend your book is being turned into a movie. Propose a plan for actors you would cast for the main characters with a brief explanation why. Also, create a script outline for what plot events you would edit out from the script for time’s sake, and any scenes you would add for the audience’s understanding or enjoyment. Information	Excellent The title and author are both included and correctly spelled and capitalized on the poster or script.	Good The title and author are included and correctly spelled or capitalized. They are located on the poster or script, but may be difficult to read.	Fair The title and author are misspelled or not capitalized, or may be illegible.	Poor The title and author are not included in the project.
Actor Choices	Excellent Actors were selected for each of the main characters, and there are detailed explanations for the choices.	Good Actors were selected for each of the main characters, but the explanations were not very detailed.	Fair Actors were selected for only a few characters or there are no explanations for the actor choice.	Poor Actors were not selected for the main characters.
Scene Selection	Excellent There are specific scenes chosen for inclusion and removal from the script, accompanied by detailed explanations.	Good There are specific scenes chosen for inclusion and removal from the script, accompanied by explanations that are not very detailed.	Fair There are scenes chosen for inclusion OR removal from the script, but there are no explanations.	Poor There are no scenes selected for inclusion or removal.
Editing & Publishing	Excellent Time and effort on the project is apparent. spelling or grammar mistakes.	Good Time and effort on the project is there but needs more. 1-5 Spelling or grammar errors.
