Basic Project Rubric
	Beginning 4 pts	Developing 7 pts	Accomplished 10 pts
Effort	Beginning Some effort is observed in the neatness, creativity, and overall look and feel of the project.	Developing Effort is evident by some group members, but time was wasted during the process.	Accomplished The entire team worked to the best of their ability and created a unique project. Time was used wisely and all the students stayed on task during class time.
Quality	Beginning Keep the project did not appeal to anyone in the group. The project was completed in a hasty manner and lacked a clear plan.	Developing Some students wanted to keep the final project. A final project was completed, but areas of improvement were clearly evident.	Accomplished All the group members wanted to keep the project. Students were proud of their efforts.
Participation	Beginning As a team member, you worked aimlessly with the group. You were physically present, but did little on the project itself.	Developing You presented ideas and contributed to the project, but it was not your best effort possible. Some group member worked more on the final product than others.	Accomplished You participated throughout the entire project giving ideas, suggestions and actively helping to complete a quality project.
Presentation	Beginning The group introduced and shared the project, but was unprepared.	Developing The group knew what they wanted to say, but showed little or not practice in the presentation.	Accomplished All team members were prepared to introduce and share their project.
Peer Response	Beginning Students were courteous to student presenters and towards the project, but the quality of the project failed to draw in the audience.	Developing Some students were intrigued by the project, but presentation or overall quality of the project did not draw in the entire group.	Accomplished All students were enthusiastically engaged in the presentation and project.
