Research paper is brief an below the 5 page requirement.Paper is under-developed and/or incomplete and does not address the selected topic in any entity. Student's paper does not reflect that proper research and reflection took place and identification with character development does not connect to student's own experience or reflect any new knowledge of material. Language, spelling, and grammar are poor.

Research paper meets the 5 page minimum requirement and shows a decent effort but not adequately developed. Responses demonstrate satisfactory level of reflection and character identification in relation to the selected topic; however, more depth is necessary.Student makes some personal connections within the text by referencing some of their own experiences and it is apparent that student did research the topic to a limited degree. Student's language, spelling, and grammar are satisfactory.

Research paper meets or exceeds the 5 page minimum requirement and is thorough and well-developed in regards to the selected topic.Reflects a high level of personal engagement and consideration of character development, analysis of research, and passion student has for the material. Often makes personal connections to the text; referencing pertinent and personally meaningful life experience. Language is creative and descriptive, spelling and

Student demonstrates very little involvement with group activity. Student contributes little to the writing of script. Student plays a passive role in role-play activity, does not actively participate or is uncooperative.

Student demonstrates an adequate level of involvement in group. Student offers some suggestions to the writing of script and casting, but relies on other group members to do the majority of the work. Student participates in role-play activity in a perfunctory way.

Student demonstrates an active level of involvement in group.Student is actively involved in the writing of the script and casting of characters and works with group members to create and build on ideas. Student is active and engaged in role-play, and personally invests themselves into the activity by incorporating their personal thoughts, experiences, and reactions.
