A time when you made a wise decision. Memoir will reflect your feelings about family / community. Wise decision: This story is about when you decided to change something about the way you perceived life and the way you perceived those people around you. This decision shows that you have character. Recollection: You will recall as many details as possible. Meaningful: You remember this decision because it was important to you. Personal: This decision was very personal. You are the lead character in this story. Everyone else is a supporting character. Experience: A memoir is a personal story about an experience or event; it is supposed to take place over a brief period of time (weekend, afternoon, etc.).
