You are to show evidence that you have thoroughly researched and analyzed all five areas. Speech and Language Project
	Poor Well below expectations for graduate level work. 10 pts	Fair Adequate amount and quality of effort but not really of graduate level quality 20 pts	Good Met criteria well and did not leave out any of the necessary components. 30 pts	Professional All components completely covered and with a consistently high level of quality 40 pts
Cooperative Teamwork	Poor Little or no evidence seen of attempts to work as a cohesive unit throughout the project as based on the Wikiboard entries. 0 to 10 points	Fair Some evidence seen to work as a cohesive unit on the project but also evidence of disproportionate efforts on the part of team members. 11 to 20 points	Good Team members worked together well in a complementary fashion towards the finished project. 21 to 30 points	Professional Team members worked together very well in a complementary fashion through each stage of the finished project and used their individual talents to assist each other in the creation of the final product. 31 to 40 points
References	Poor Incomplete references and/or citations either unclear or inappropriate for the topic. 0 to 10 points	Fair Fifteen references were used but they did not cover all aspects of the assignment. 11 to 20 points	Good At least fifteen references were used and it was evident how each reference "fit" in addressing the five major areas of the project. 21 to 30 points	Professional At least fifteen references were used that were of uniformly high quality. Their appropriateness for the presentation topic was evident throughout the presentation. 31 to 40 points
Slideshow Design	Poor Of poor visual quality. Far too much or far too little text. No use of font size, bullets, or other forms of attention getting and maintaining graphics. 0 to 10 points	Fair Powerpoints "tell the story" of the presentation adequately but do not really add to the overall presentation. 11 to 20 points	Good Powerpoints are attractive, well organized, and presented in such a manner that they enhance the understanding of the information being presented. 21 to 30 points	Professional Poweroints are of obvious superior quality. They are clear, coherent, well connected conceptually, and help the presenters bring emphasis to the major points they are trying to convey in the presentation. 31 to 40 points
Quality of Content	Poor See the "Not Proficient" description in the CEC Language Standards Rubric in the Course Information Section 0 to 10 points 0 to 10 points	Fair See the "Novice" description in the CEC Language Standards Rubric in the Course Information Section. 11 to 20 points	Good See the "Proficient with Assistance" description in the CEC Language Standards Rubric in the Course Information Section. 21 to 30 points	Professional See the "Proficient" description in the CEC Language Standards Rubric in the Course Information Section 31 to 40 points
Quality of Delivery	Poor Presenters are dull, boring, and provide little in the way of projecting enthusiasm through either voice quality, volume, or nonverbal physical delivery. Present to the screen instead of the audience. 0 to 10 points	Fair The presentation style is adequate to the demands of the presentation but does not really "sell the audience" on the concepts being presented. Little evidence of shared ownership of the presentation. 11 to 20 points	Good Voice, volume, and nonverbal aspects of the presentation are all of good quality. It is evident that each presenter is enthusiastic about his/her part of the presentation. Good clarity of communication. 21 to 30 points	Professional Excellent qualities of clarity, voice, volume, and nonverbal communication are evident throughout the presentation. It is obviously a well prepared presentation. 31 to 40 points
