Evidence and citation	Exemplary -4 Strong examples for the theme; descriptive; at least one quote used with page number in body paragraph.	Proficient -3 Good and relevant examples; one quote used in body paragraph; may be missing page number	Approaching -2 Some examples used but needs more detail; no quote included	Beginning -1 does not include enough evidence to demonstrate theme; or evidence doesn't connect at all with theme
