The writer has slightly adapted his/her approach to journal writing. The writer has somewhat tried to self-assess his/her work but has failed to make any adjustments.

The writer has sufficiently applied the codes and copnventions of the assigned task however, there is room for improvement. The collaboration with peers prior to writing this assignment was somewhat well done and has allowed the student to meet the minimum standard. Improvement is definitely within reach. The writer has sufficiently achieved the basics of journal writing, and has used self-reflection as a means to improving. However, improvement in all areas is necessary.

The writer has combined all of these elements; their adjustments are used in order to produce a unique series of journal entries, the class discussions has allowed these journal entries to be exceptionally well done, the evidence used from the text in formed in such a way that without it the text would lack quality, finally, the writer's growth as a well informed reader has allowed them to produce an exceptional text.
