Making the Dough

Followed directions well and independently to create a smooth ball of dough that was easy to roll out. Pieces fit together correctly with no gaps.

Followed directions well with help from the teacher. Dough was a smooth ball that was easy to roll out. Pieces fit together without major gaps.

Followed directions with lots of help from the teacher. Dough was dry and did not roll out evenly. Pieces fit together, but with large gaps.

Teacher almost did everything, dough is crumbly and very hard to roll out. Pieces had to be modified to hold house up.

House is somewhat professional. It is sloppy with minimal decorating or with overdecorating.

House is not professional and/or has no decorations at all. Looks sloppy.

The project demonstrates original personal expression and creative originality. Forethought is evident.

The project demonstrates numerous amounts of personal expression and some creative originality.
