3 Dimensional Physical Map of the United States and Canada
Room design
Create a 3 dimensional map of prominent landforms in the United States and Canada. Students must use a variety of objects such as yarn, dried beans, pasta, peas, peanuts etc. to create the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, Gulf of Mexico, the five Great Lakes, Rocky and Appalachian Mountain ranges, the Great Plains, Gulf-Atlantic Coastal Plains, Mississippi, St Lawrence, Missouri, Mackenzie, Yukon Rivers, Mt Ranier, Mt Whitney, Mt McKinley, and Mt Washington. The map must include a 3 dimensional compass rose, title, and legend.
