Understanding	Poor -can't link idea and until together -doesn't show a real understanding of topic	Fair -shows relevance to topic -has a good understanding of the topic	Good -Able to explain idea in relevance to topic -showed mastery of the unit -able to fuse own ideas and the unit together
Support of Idea	Poor -no support for idea -can't convert idea to class -can't defend position	Fair -defends idea -conveys their support of the idea to the class	Good -able to defend idea -give supporting information of idea -clearly convey this support to class
