Advent movie project movie project As an intro into the advent season students will use video cameras (or their phones) to make a movie using iMovie software on their interpretation of the true meaning of the Advent season or Christmas.. These movies will be used to both help the students get to know each other better and will also be used to see how familiar the students are with using video camera's as well as iMovie software to put together the movies. Imovie presentation
	Poor 1 pts	Fair/Good 3 pts	Excellent 5 pts
Use of video camera	Poor Was not able to capture lighting, lots of background noise and barely able to hear audio, Did not video all of the required subjects.	Fair/Good Used some lighting affects, audio was slightly interrupted by background noise, captured some of the required subjects.	Excellent Used proper lighting when capturing subjects, audio had little to no background noise, accurately captured all subjects.
Use of iMovie Software	Poor Did not use any transitions in the movie, did not add any sound effects, was not able to put together a project using iMovie.	Fair/Good Used few transitions, had few sound effects, had some special effects.	Excellent Used transitions and sound effects in a proper and creative way.
Presentation and style	Poor Did not use any creativity, did not follow directions,	Fair/Good Followed directions, but lacked creativity.	Excellent Followed directions in a creative and interesting way.
Overall Message	Poor Message was very unclear and lacked support.	Fair/Good Message could be understood with some support.	Excellent Message was perfectly clear with much support.
Use of Class Time	Poor Rarely on task and needed to be reminded often to get back to work	Fair/Good Mostly on task with a good collaborative spirit.	Excellent Always on task and a helpful and productive group member.
