Psychology Class Presentation 
Student groups will be responsible for thoroughly presenting/teaching the vocabulary and concepts of a chapter selected by the group.

FACTS

Students will research facts regarding the chapter they chose

Senior

Students have included 20 or more facts regarding the selected chapter. The facts are topical and are related to the vocabulary and concepts being presented.
Junior

Students have included 15-19 facts regarding the selected chapter.
The facts are topical and are related to the vocabulary and concepts being presented.
Sophomore

Students have included 10-14 facts regarding the chapter.
The facts are topical and are related to the vocabulary and concepts being presented.
Freshmen

Students have included 9 or less facts regarding the chapter. The facts are topical and are related to the vocabulary and concepts being presented.
GRAPHICS

Students will select graphics which will help explain the vocabulary and concepts of the chapter. All graphics are clear and easy to see and do not take away from the facts and are on topic. Graphics are, but not limited to posters, project boards, diagrams, pictures, cartoons, etc.

Senior

Student has 7 graphics that are clear and easy to understand. They add to the overall presentation and are on topic.
Junior

Student has 5-6 graphics that are clear and easy to understand. They add to the overall presentation and are on topic.
Sophomore

Student has 3-4 graphics that are somewhat clear and can be understood. They add somewhat to the presentation and are not always on topic.
Freshmen

Student has 2 or fewer graphics that are not clear or easy to understand. They distract from the overall presentation.
POWER POINT

Students created a pp presentation which is informative and does not distract the viewer. Slides are clear and easy to read. Font will be assigned. Backgrounds do not distract from the slide and make the information easy to read. Students include a cover slide which includes their names, period, date, and name of the chapter they chose. They also include a reference slide with a minimum of 5 references.

Senior

Student has a total of 10 slides including a cover slide and a reference slide. Slides are easy to understand, information is informative and in the correct font.
Junior

Student has 7-9 slides including a cover and reference slide. Slides can be understood, information is good and is in the correct font. Background is good.
Sophomore

Student has 5-6 slides. Information is not clear. Backgrounds are distracting and are not in the correct font. Student has a cover slide but fewer than 5 resources on the reference slide.
Freshmen

Student has fewer than 4 slides. Information is unclear. Background distracts the viewer. There is a cover slide but the reference slide has less than 4 references.
ORAL PRESENTATION

Students will present the pp to the entire class. Students will show they have rehearsed. Students will speak in a clear voice.

Senior

Students have rehearsed the presentation and are speaking clearly for everyone to hear.
Junior

Students are speaking clearly but are mispronouncing words and show signs they have not rehearsed enough.
Sophomore

Students are not speaking loud enough and are hard to understand. They are not sure of what they are presenting.
Freshmen

Students are making little or no attempt to present information.
PRESENTATION QUIZ

Students will include one additional slide that serves as a quiz. Students will administer the quiz to the class at the end of their presentation. Quiz should be no longer than 10 questions and be in a short answer format.

Senior

Students have included their quiz of 10 questions and are in short answer format.
Junior

Students only have 8 questions. They are in short answer format.
Sophomore

Students have less than 7 questions. They are not in the correct format.
Freshmen

Students have no quiz.
