Education Philosophy Statement Rubric 
Students are expected to create a teaching philosophy paper that explains what they think teaching and learning should be. This rubric will help students understand the expectations for this paper and give them some ideas on how to start the writing process. The paper should include reflection on past experiences and learning theories that should be used in the classroom, as well as express ideas in a clear and concise manner. The paper should be between 400-1,000 words.
