understanding of project	Level 1 Students project is incomplete, does not meet the criteria or expectations.	Level 2 Students shows little understand of organic shapes through their artwork.	Level 3 Student shows majority understanding of organic shapes but was not executed to their best ability.	Level 4 Student shows full understanding of organic shapes through their artwork and was carefully constructed.
Use of color	Level 1 Project is incomplete and shows inaccurate use of colors.	Level 2 Majority of project shows use of warm colors but is incomplete.	Level 3 Project is complete and shows only warm colors but was not designed carefully.	Level 4 Project is completed with only used of warm color. Colors are balanced created a sense of unity with the artwork.
Effort	Level 1 Student showed no effort during this project.	Level 2 Student showed some effort but would not work the entire class.	Level 3 Student showed great effort and worked until class was over.	Level 4 Student gave 110% effort, took constructive criticism to make artwork better, followed all directions and worked the entire class.
Participation in discussion	Level 1 Student did not participate in discussion and was not paying attention.	Level 2 Student payed attention in class but did not participate in class discussion.	Level 3 Student payed attention, was involved in class discussion, answered and asked questions.	Level 4 Student payed attention, asked and answered discussion questions and lead conversations at their table about topic. Student also taught other students.
