Decades TV/Pop Culture Presentation- Pre 1960s to 2010s. Decade on Popular Culture Presentation- 1950's to 2000's. In groups, students are to research a given decade and present the popular culture/television of that decade. You become 'experts' on the changes that occurred in that decade and how popular culture/the show affected that decade. They will present their findings in the form of a class presentation involving an informative PowerPoint, Prezi, movie or other format of visual digital presentation. Pop Culture Decade
	Level 1 Unsatisfactory 10 pts	Level 2 Meets Minimum Standard 20 pts	Level 3 Meets Expectations 30 pts	Level 4 Exceeds Expectations 50 pts
Presentation Format	Level 1 Slides are inadequate and format does not follow directions.	Level 2 There is little deviation from format. The presentation may be over or under length.	Level 3 Format is precise, follows directions and stays on task.	Level 4 Presentation excedes assignment expectations, shows creativity and attention to detail.
Content- double points	Level 1 Information provided is generally accurate but lacks insight and strays from the topic.	Level 2 Information is accurate and on topic. Major points are made but only somewhat supported.	Level 3 Information is accurate and shows insight. Major points are made and supported.	Level 4 Information is accurate and exceeds minimum. Information contains strong points and insight.
All content areas used.	Level 1	Level 2	Level 3 - 10 points for any major area listed to the right not covered.	Level 4 Covers beliefs, family structure, government, politics and politician area, music, movies, television, clothing styles, popular sports figures and landmark events in the sports world, celebrities, etc. and how these are illustrated in the television show.
Presentation Delivery	Level 1 Delivery is not clear. The presentation lacks fluency and is not well rehearsed. Only 1member presents. Single medium.	Level 2 Delivery is fluent but not interesting. Not all group members are involved in the presentation nor know the main changes of their decade.	Level 3 Delivery is fluent and lively. All group members are involved in the presentation and know their decade well. Multimedia used though not all music and video.	Level 4 Delivery is interesting and lively and keeps the audience focused and entertained. All group members are involved and each is an 'expert' on the decade. Multimedia is used (music, video, etc.) A copy of the pilot of your show is presented.
