	Excellent 30 pts	Fair 25 pts	Poor 15 pts
Completion	Excellent You completed all the tasks which include watching the video, viewing the slides, and playing the game before you took the quiz. You also completed the root word tree.	Fair You completed more than half of the tasks. Example: watching the video, viewing the slides, but not playing the game. You completed parts root word tree well.	Poor You didn't complete more than half of the tasks. Example: You only watched the video, and did not view the slides, or play the game. You completed parts of the root word tree poorly.
Understanding	Excellent You completely understand the concepts that are being taught through the tasks. Example: You know what a root word is, recognize the patterns between words with similar roots, and you understand the inflectional forms of root words.	Fair You understand some of the concepts being taught through the tasks. Example: You know what a root word is and can recognize their patterns but do not know what an inflectional form is.	Poor You understand little to none of the concepts. Example: you know what a root word is, but you can't recognize their patterns, and you do not know what the inflectional forms are.
Application	Excellent You understood and were able to answer 10-15 questions correctly on the quiz.	Fair You understood some concepts and were able to answer 5-10 question correctly on the quiz.	Poor You didn't understand very many concepts and were only able to answer 1-5 questions correctly on the quiz.
Creativity and Integration	Excellent You created a unique root word tree and it included the inflectional forms.	Fair You created a root word tree but it was bland and missing some components, for example the inflectional form.	Poor You created a root word tree but you did not understand the concepts of root words and it is displayed in your work.
