Good Class time was used wisely. Student could have put in more time and effort.	Excellent Class time was used wisely. Much time and effort went into the planning and design of the piece.
Creativity	Poor Student has not made much attempt to meet the requirements of the assignment.	Fair Student has copied some of the design from the source material. There is little evidence of creativity, but the student has done the assignment.	Good Student has come up with some original ideas and imagery to portray their ideas as appropriate to the assignment.	Excellent The group has used strong imagery and symbolism and used materials in ways that are thinking outside of the box.
Use of materials	Poor Student's work is uneven or sloppy and shows very little effort on the art of the artist.	Fair The piece is orderly. Some care and attention is evident in the work.	Good The piece is orderly and shows some interesting uses of materials. Details have been added to enhance the piece.	Excellent Student has presented a piece that is balanced, uses the materials in creative ways, and shows evidence of time spent.
Presentation	Poor Little effort is seen in the presentation of the piece.	Fair The piece is difficult to decipher what the components are supposed to be. Some planning of presentation is evident.	Good The piece shows careful planning and control.	Excellent The piece shows incredible attention to detail and all of the components of the piece complement each other adding to the aesthetic value.
