Daily Points for Dance Ensemble Daily Points for Dance Class Dancer will get points daily for attendance, dance attire, behavior/attitude, and retention in the rehearsal process. Rubric Code: JBC5C6 By audraallen Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: Dance Type: Attendance Grade Levels: 9-12

Criteria
	Excellent 3 pts	Satisfactory 2 pts	Emerging 1 pts
Attendance	Excellent Showed up on time and warmed up to participate in rehearsal.	Satisfactory Tardy to rehearsal by five minutes or less, but arrived warmed up to participate.	Emerging Tardy to rehearsal by more than five minutes, thus negatively affecting all the participants.
Dance Attire	Excellent Came prepared in entire proper dress code for rehearsal i.e. hair, clothes, footwear etc.	Satisfactory Came mostly prepared in dress code for rehearsal with only one element missing i.e. hair, clothes, footwear etc.	Emerging Did not come dressed prepared for rehearsal and more than one element is missing i.e. hair, clothes, footwear etc.
Behavior/Attitude	Excellent Is positive and respectful to all participants in rehearsal, for the full length of rehearsal. No negative talking or attitude is present.	Satisfactory Is positive and respectful to all participants in rehearsal, for the majority of the rehearsal. Negative attitude becomes apparent only once or twice in rehearsal but still attempts to stay positive and respectful.	Emerging Is not positive and respectful to all participants in rehearsal for the majority of the rehearsal. Negative attitude is apparent the majority of the rehearsal.
Retention	Excellent Evident the dancer reviewed and practiced material from previous rehearsal, to make sure prepared and confident with it for current rehearsal, with few to no mistakes that were made in previous rehearsal.	Satisfactory Evident the dancer made some effort to review and practice material from previous rehearsal, but did not practice enough to be prepared and confident with material for current rehearsal, with some mistakes still evident from previous rehearsal.	Emerging Evident the dancer did not make effort to review and practice material from previous rehearsal, still making the same mistakes as evident in the last rehearsal.
