Beginner Speech: One to two minutes Common Core Standard: Presentation of Knowledge and Ideas. Adapt speech to a variety of contexts and tasks demonstrating command of formal English when indicated or appropriate. This is the first in a series of speeches. This speech focuses on presentation basics such as posture, volume, clarity, content and preparedness.
