Map Title, map purpose and border.

Map title, map purpose are labeled on the front of the map. Both labels relate to the map. A border is easily visible and frames the map beautifully.

Title and map purpose connect to map accurately. Border is included. Border frames map with considerable purpose.
2 = Developing
Title doesn't connect to map. Border is included. Border satisfactorily frames map.
1 = Beginning
There is no map title or border.

4 = Accomplished
The map key is clearly understood. All symbols found on the key are easily found on the map.
3 = Proficient
The map key is considerably understood. Not All symbols found on the key are easily found on the map.

The map key is present but there are few symbols in the key that are not found on the map. The map key is not able to be understood clearly.

The map is not colored and has visible scratchouts. It is sloppy. The student shows a lack of effort.
