Still Life Drawing 50 points Still Life Drawing 40 points Students were given two weeks to create an indepth drawing of a still life in black and white that included bottles, lamp fixtures, jugs and patterened fabric. Observational Skills	Poor Did not attempt to draw what he/she saw.	Fair Attempted to draw what he/she saw.	Good Student neatly drew what he/she saw.
Reflections on Surfaces	Poor Did not apply reflections.	Fair An attempt at showing reflections was made but was messy or more distinct than needed.	Good Showed reflections correctly and neatly using distortion techniques.
Distortions through Glass	Poor Did not show that objects were transparent by seeing through them.	Fair Attempted to show transparency of objects, but distortions are not evident.	Good Showed that objects were transparent and round by the distortions of back ground objects.
Values	Poor Did not apply values.	Fair An attempt at value was made but was messy or needed more contrast.	Good Shaded neatly using value techniques and high contrast.
Work Ethic	Poor Did not stay on task and / or show respect.	Fair Had some problems with staying on task and / or cleaning up after self.	Good Stayed on task and was respectful of classroom materials, and artwork.
