Presentation Rubric
	Excellent 15 pts	Good 10 pts	OK 5 pts	Poor 2 pts
Introduction	Excellent Introduction uses an attention-grabber, states thesis statement, and previews main ideas.	Good Introduction is missing ONE of the opening elements: attention-grabber, thesis statement, or preview of topics.	OK Introduction is missing TWO of the opening elements: attention-grabber, thesis statement, or preview of topics.	Poor Speech begins without an official introduction.
Memory and Delivery	Excellent It is apparent that the student rehearsed their speech. Language and delivery was fluent and effective.	Good It is apparent that the student rehearesed the speech, yet language and delivery was not as fluent as it could have been.	OK It is apparent that the student may have read their speech a couple of times for preparation. Delivery was simply reading the speech.	Poor It is apparent that the student did not prepare for presentation. Delivery was not fluent at all.
Content	Excellent Student has a stronghold on the content and content is thoroughly addressed. All 6 parts are present. All figurative Language is used properly.	Good Student has a basic understanding of the content. Mostly all 6 parts and figurative language s present in speech.	OK Student has only a superficial or limited understanding of content. There are several parts of speech/figurative language missing.	Poor Student has little to no understanding of the content addressed in the presentation. There is no proof of having any of the 6 parts or figurative language.
Conclusion	Excellent Speech is wrapped up cleverly and thoroughly.	Good Speech is wrapped up thoroughly.	OK Speech sort of abruptly ends with little closure.	Poor Speech ends without an official conclusion.
