Social Studies Country Project 
Each student is to fill out forms about their country for geography class in Social Studies. Each student will present orally about the facts he or she has learned. More than 2 resources are to have been used to find materials.

student speaks clearly, knows facts, misses some important facts, but generally presents the country in a clear voice, with knowledge.

Quite clear in presentation, knows all the facts, practice is evident and the student does a fabulous job presenting the country report.
Behavior as audience

Student does not listen to classmates presentation, interrupts, does not learn from others due to inattetion.
Fair

student listens somewhat to others, yet is more focused on other things and doesn't pay attention to his/her classmates the entire time
Good

Student pays attention most of the time during classmates presentations. Is able to repeat back some of the facts.
Excellent

Outstanding listener. Might even ask questions about facts not presented which indicates a clear understanding of what was presented
Learned something

Poor

student can not repeat back any fact presented either from own project or from fellow classmate's reports.
Fair

student remembers a few details of his/her country and can state a fact or two about other student's countries.
Good

student has clear recall about his/her own country and can recite back at least 3-5 facts about each of the other countries
Excellent

Student can ask questions, recite facts, knows what was presented in a clear precise manner from other students. Solid listener and good memory.
