Vocabulary/Definition Activity Square Definition Activity In geometry, definitions are very important. Your job is to discover a good definition for an assigned vocabulary word. Definition Wording	Good The definition is clear, concise, and easy to follow. No vague terms are present.	Fair The definition is somewhat clear and easy to follow but has a few vague terms.	Poor The definition is difficult to understand.
Counterexamples	Good No counterexamples exist to your definition.	Fair 1-2 counterexamples exist to your definition.	Poor 3+ counterexamples exist to your definition.
Teamwork	Good Everyone contributed to the group discussion. Everyone worked well together to accomplish the task.	Fair Some contributions were made by team members toward group discussion. Group worked somewhat well together.	Poor Did not work well as a team. No group discussion present.
Analysis of Definition	Good Clearly thought-out analysis. Contains reasons for judgment about the definition. Contains support to back up judgments.	Fair Somewhat clear analysis. Contains a few reasons for judgment but does not contain very much support for that judgment.	Poor Analysis does not seem well thought-out. No reasons or support is given for judgment.
