Model	Level 1 Student constructed an unstable bridge.	Level 2 Student used everyday objects to create a structure that was somewhat stable. Student rushed through his/her work.	Level 3 Student constructed a model of a bridge based on proper design using everyday materials.	Level 4 Student constructed a model of a bridge based on proper design using everyday materials. He/she went above and beyond to ensure the bridge was pleasing to look at and functional.
Presentation	Level 1 Student did not use scientific vocabulary and was unable to define the point of compression. Student was unprepared.	Level 2 Student used some scientific vocabulary and with assistance was able to define the point of compression. Was sometimes difficult to hear. Presentation was simple.	Level 3 Student used scientific vocabulary and was aware of the definition of compression. Clear and easy to follow.	Level 4 Student used accurate scientific vocabulary and was aware of the difference between compression and tension. Clear and easy to follow.
Cooperation	Level 1 Student had difficulty collaborating with group members in order to make decisions. Student needed constant reminders to cooperate and stay on task.
