LEVEL 2 Student tries to use the correct format, but has 2-3 mistakes in the rhyme scheme or rhythm patterning.	LEVEL 3 Student uses the correct format, but has 1 mistake in the rhyme scheme and rhythm patterning.	LEVEL 4 Student use the correct format of a limerick poem. Student have the correct rhyme scheme and rhythm patterning.
Word Choice	LEVEL 1 Has limited use of descriptive words to create ideas with in the poem.	LEVEL 2 An attempt to use descriptive words is somewhat evident and somewhat successful.	LEVEL 3 Descriptive words are used in the limerick and create images.	LEVEL 4 Great word choice. The words are used successfully to create images and ideas.
